No happy hour. Bar Cima is a full-price rooftop and it is priced like one. Signature cocktails $19, wine by the glass $14–$34, beer $12, appetizers and flatbreads $15–$24. Doors at 5pm, midnight close Tuesday through Saturday. What you’re paying for is the 29th floor.

Bar Cima: A 29th-Floor Agave Bar Over Bryant Park, No Happy Hour, Serious View

Bar Cima sits on the 29th floor of the Grayson Hotel on West 39th, and the honest headline is that there is no happy hour here — not a discounted window, not a sunset hour, nothing. Cocktails are $19 flat, wine by the glass runs $14 to $34, beer is $12, and small plates and flatbreads land between $15 and $24. Doors open at 5pm.

So why send you here at all? Because the room delivers on the one thing rooftops are supposed to deliver and mostly don’t. The sightline runs Empire State Building to Bryant Park to One World Trade, portions of the terrace are covered so it works past September, and the back bar carries north of 200 agave spirits — a real tequila and mezcal program, not a shelf of Casamigos. If you want a cheap drink in Midtown, go two blocks and read our Midtown guide. If you want the view and you’ve decided to pay for it, this is a good version of that trade.

The Happy Hour

There isn’t one. As of August 2026, Bar Cima does not advertise a happy hour — no discounted window on its own site, its menus, or its Google listing, which the business itself updated five weeks before we checked. Prices are the same from 5pm to close: $19 signature cocktails, $16 and up for zero-proof, $14–$34 wine by the glass, $12 beer, $15–$24 food. The closest thing to a value play is going early on a Sunday or Monday, when the room closes at 10pm and is quieter before 7. If that changes, we’ll update this page — and if you’re the operator, tell us and we’ll list it.

The Room

Take the Grayson Hotel elevator to 29. Inside it’s jewel-toned velvet seating, carved stone tables and an antique mirrored ceiling, with the agave collection racked on walnut shelving behind the bar. The north terrace is the seasonal half — tilework, copper sconces, rope-wrapped furniture — and it’s where the Bryant Park sightline opens up. Dress is smart-casual by convention rather than by posted rule, and reservations are the sane move on a Friday. The B, D, F and M at 42nd St–Bryant Park are two blocks north; the 7 at Fifth Ave–Bryant Park is closer still.
