Happy Hour at Jacob’s Pickles on the Upper West Side
Jacob’s Pickles is the Upper West Side’s long-running temple to Southern comfort food, open since 2011 and known for buttermilk fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, mac and cheese, and its namesake house pickles. In October 2025 it moved a few blocks from its original Amsterdam Avenue home to a bigger space at 680 Columbus Avenue, roughly doubling the seating.
The new room is wide and open, with a hybrid indoor-outdoor bar, a year-round climate-controlled patio, and a big craft-beer program that matches the Beer, Biscuits, Pickles motto. It’s a weekend-brunch madhouse and a reliable late-night comfort-food stop, open until midnight every day.
The Happy Hour
The signature deal here is the Mini Margarita Hour, available Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6:30pm at the bar.
