Kelly’s Sports Bar on the Upper East Side
Kelly’s Sports Bar is a classic Irish-style sports bar, and its Upper East Side flagship opened in April 2025 in the former Subway Inn space at 1154 2nd Avenue, in the shadow of the 59th Street Bridge. It is the sister bar to the original Kelly’s on Avenue A in the East Village, a longtime out-of-town fan haunt.
The UES room leans into game day with wall-to-wall TVs, a full bar and a downstairs game room with a Diamond pool table carried over from the old dive that occupied the space. It is an all-sports bar in the true sense, covering soccer, NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB and more, open late into the night.
