Oliver’s, at 3719 Broadway, has been an Astoria favorite for around twelve years — a craft beer bar and kitchen with a carefully curated, rotating tap list, artfully crafted cocktails, and a from-scratch kitchen that covers lunch, dinner, late-night and brunch. The room is energetic and casual, the beer leans local-plus-creative, and the happy hour is one of the more generous in the neighborhood.

The Happy Hour

Every weekday, with a deal that runs all day too:

• Weekdays 4–7pm — select appetizers and cocktails for $10 each
• $4 Miller High Life all day, every day
• HH bites: jumbo wings, Bavarian pretzel sticks, truffle fries, buffalo chicken empanadas, Broadway mozzarella sticks
• HH cocktails: Spicy Ginger, Margarita, Relaxed Collins, Smoked Old Fashioned, Red Sangria, Queen of Queens

The Drinks

A rotating craft beer list featuring local favorites and creative craft beers from all over, plus signature cocktails. And for the hop-agnostic, that $4 frosty mug of Miller High Life is always on.

The Food

Fresh takes on classics — the Astoria burger, a pulled pork sandwich, Broadway mac and cheese, chicken and waffles, cast-iron poutine, a hummus plate and seared tuna lettuce wraps. Bottomless brunch is offered every day until 4pm, with lemon ricotta pancakes, a breakfast burrito, avocado toast and the Bougie B.E.C.

The Scene

Trivia Mondays are free to play with prizes (8pm, hosted by NYC Trivia League), and Tequila Tuesdays bring taco and drink specials, with rotating events filling out the rest of the calendar. It’s a neighborhood room that’s lively but easygoing.
