What to Expect ✓ Verified June 2026
No happy hour — Reserve Cut is a special-occasion kosher steakhouse where the draw is dry-aged prime beef and a serious wine list, not a discounted hour. Some listings mention a bar menu with cocktail and wine specials, but no verified happy-hour days, times or prices are published, and the dining room now opens at 5 PM. Expect full-price fine dining rather than a set deal; call ahead if you want to confirm any bar-level pricing.

Reserve Cut: Downtown’s Upscale Kosher Steakhouse Inside The Setai

Reserve Cut is Downtown Manhattan’s premier modern kosher steakhouse, tucked onto the second floor of The Setai on Broad Street a block from the New York Stock Exchange. Master butcher Albert Allaham built the menu around USDA Prime beef dry-aged in-house for well over a month, plus kosher domestic and umami olive-fed wagyu you won’t find anywhere else in the city. It is glatt kosher under OU certification, so the kitchen goes dark for Shabbat.

The room is large and polished, with Asian-inspired design carried over from the hotel, a glass-enclosed open kitchen and a sushi bar that runs about half the menu. It reads as a business-dinner and celebration spot: prime steaks, tableside flambe, an extensive kosher wine list and private rooms for the occasion. Prices sit firmly at the top of the range, so come for the beef and the setting rather than a bargain.

What to Expect

Reserve Cut does not publish a verified happy hour. A few directory listings reference a bar menu with wine and cocktail specials, but no confirmed days, times or discounted prices exist, and the current 5 PM opening conflicts with the older ‘from 4 PM’ copy floating around. Treat the bar as full-price and confirm with the venue if you’re chasing a specific deal.

The Room

A roughly 200-plus-seat main dining room with Asian-inspired decor, a sushi bar, a glass-enclosed open kitchen, a private wine room and four private event spaces.
