The short version
- The best oneOlde City, 576 9th Ave – “Eagles game sound with music during commercials,” in their own words.
- Quietest branchOlde City UES, 1664 3rd Ave – same policy, a fraction of the crowd.
- Book a tableWogie’s – the only Eagles bars in NYC that take game-day reservations.
- The trapNo reservations at Olde City, and your full party must be present to sit. Do not send one person ahead.
- The correctionOther guides list Olde City at “201 Eighth Ave” with three locations. It is 201 Amsterdam Ave, and there are four.
The Eagles bars NYC fans actually use come down to two operations. Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew runs four Manhattan locations — 9th Ave, Madison Ave, 3rd Ave and Amsterdam Ave — and publishes the clearest sound policy of any bar in this city: Eagles game sound with music during commercials. Wogie’s has two, in the West Village and FiDi, and is the only Eagles bar in New York that will take a reservation for a game. Between them that is six rooms, twenty taps and a cheesesteak worth the trip. Two things to know before you go: Olde City takes no bookings and will not seat a partial party, and the address other guides print for its Upper West Side branch is five miles wrong.

Olde City: the sound is in writing
Four locations, one policy, published on their own site. This is the only chain in New York that tells you in advance whose game gets the audio, and it is the reason it leads this page. Same rules at every branch: no reservations, and your whole party has to be there to sit.
Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew — Hell’s Kitchen
The flagship, and the reason this page exists. Olde City publishes the clearest sound policy of any bar in this entire series, in its own words: “Eagles game sound with music during commercials. We will show other games with sound when Eagles are not playing.” No negotiating with a bartender, no hoping. Twelve TVs, 20 beers on tap, and a cheesesteak that is the actual reason half the room is there. The honest caveat, and it will ruin your day if you ignore it: no reservations, and “your full party must be present in order to sit.” Arriving first to hold a table for four does not work here. Come together or come early.

Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew — NoMad
Same brand, same audio promise, and the most practical location if you are coming in on a train — a ten-minute walk from Penn, a little more from Grand Central. The verdict: if you are meeting people arriving from Philly for the day, meet here rather than in Hell’s Kitchen and save everyone the crosstown. The honest caveat: the no-reservations, full-party-present rule applies at every location, and this one sits in a part of town with nowhere obvious to wait it out.

Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew — Upper East Side
The local move. Four locations run the same Eagles audio policy, and this is consistently the least mobbed of them — the Upper East Side is not where the Philadelphia diaspora congregates, which is exactly the point when the Eagles are in primetime and Hell’s Kitchen is a queue. Worth it if you would rather see the game than the back of someone’s head. Go here instead of 9th Ave for a divisional game.

Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew — Upper West Side
The address worth getting right. Several NYC guides still list this location as “201 Eighth Ave” and claim Olde City has three locations. The company’s own site says 201 Amsterdam Ave, and there are four. That is a five-mile error being recycled between guides that never checked. The verdict: the best Eagles option north of 59th on the west side, with the same written sound policy as the rest.

Wogie’s: the one that takes a booking
Two locations, and the only Eagles bars in the city with a reservation system for game days. For a divisional game that beats a drink special. See also our best cheesesteaks in NYC guide and the full NFL bars roundup.
Wogie’s Bar & Grill — West Village
The one genuine alternative to Olde City, and the only Eagles bar in New York that will hold you a table — their own site carries a standing “CLICK HERE FOR EAGLES RESERVATION INFO!” link. For a divisional game or a primetime kickoff, that is worth more than any drink special. The honest caveat: the $14 whiskey-and-beer combo that circulates on every other Eagles list traces to a 2021 newspaper piece, and the bar’s own site says the happy hour has since been relaunched. We are not repeating a five-year-old price as though it were this season’s.

Wogie’s Bar & Grill — FiDi
The downtown branch, and the easier reservation of the two. FiDi empties out at weekends, which works in your favour on a Sunday afternoon — the same operation, the same Eagles booking system, a fraction of the West Village scrum. The verdict: if you are organising more than four people, start here. The local move: it is a five-minute walk to Continental’s 70-plus screens if the game turns into an afternoon.

Watching the Eagles in NYC: FAQ
Which NYC bar shows the Eagles with sound?
Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew, at all four Manhattan locations. Their own site states it plainly: “Eagles game sound with music during commercials. We will show other games with sound when Eagles are not playing.” That is the only written, unconditional sound commitment we found from any Eagles bar in New York. The four addresses are 576 9th Ave, 66 Madison Ave, 1664 3rd Ave and 201 Amsterdam Ave.
Can I reserve a table for an Eagles game in NYC?
Only at Wogie’s, which has locations at 39 Greenwich Avenue in the West Village and 44 Trinity Place in FiDi and runs a standing Eagles reservation link on its own site. Olde City takes no reservations at any location, and its rule is strict: your full party must be present before you are seated. Sending one person ahead to hold a table does not work.
How many Olde City locations are there in NYC?
Four – 576 9th Ave in Hell’s Kitchen, 66 Madison Ave in NoMad, 1664 3rd Ave on the Upper East Side, and 201 Amsterdam Ave on the Upper West Side. Several NYC bar guides still list only three and give the Upper West Side address as “201 Eighth Ave,” which is a different neighbourhood entirely. The company’s own site is the source for all four.
Where is the least crowded Eagles bar in NYC?
Olde City on the Upper East Side, 1664 3rd Avenue. Same written sound policy as the flagship, but the Philadelphia diaspora in New York does not concentrate east of Lexington above 79th, so it consistently fills last. For a primetime or divisional game when 9th Avenue is a queue, that is the move. Wogie’s FiDi branch is the other quiet option, since the Financial District empties at weekends.
What do drinks cost at an Eagles bar in NYC?
Olde City says to ask your bartender for game-day specials and does not publish prices; it has 20 beers on tap. Wogie’s relaunched its happy hour and has not published the new pricing. The $14 whiskey-and-beer combo that appears on other Eagles lists comes from a 2021 newspaper article and should not be treated as a current price.
