The Patriots bars NYC fans can actually rely on are Eastpoint at 25 Avenue B in the East Village, which sits on the NFL’s own Patriots bar registry and promises guaranteed game sound for the entirety of the game, and Halyards at 406 3rd Ave in Gowanus, the registry’s only Brooklyn entry. Add The Three Monkeys at 832 8th Ave, a tri-level New England room that a startling number of guides misfile as a Packers bar. Two warnings the official sources will not give you: Professor Thom’s is still on the team’s registry and has been closed for years, and Three Monkeys has moved twice, so check the address.

The Patriots bars
Two are on the NFL’s own Patriots bar registry, which is the closest thing to an official stamp any team gives out. The third is a self-branded New England room that most of the internet has filed under the wrong team entirely.
Eastpoint
The strongest Patriots claim in the city, and it comes from the team’s own bar registry rather than a listicle: weekly watch parties for every game, big screens, and — the line that matters — “guaranteed game sound for the entirety of the game.” They run beer pong at halftime, which tells you what kind of room it is. The verdict: if you want New England football with the volume up, this is the one. The honest caveat: the registry lists Thursday hours as 5pm–2pm, which is plainly a typo somebody never fixed, and no drink prices are published anywhere. Check their Instagram the morning of.

Halyards
The only Patriots bar in Brooklyn on the team’s own registry, and the reason this page is not Manhattan-only. Gowanus is an easy R or F ride from most of brownstone Brooklyn, which beats crossing the river for a 1pm. The verdict: worth it if you are already south of Atlantic Ave — not worth the trip from Manhattan when Eastpoint publishes a sound guarantee and this one does not. The honest caveat: we confirmed the registry listing and that the bar is open and trading, but could not pull a quotable Patriots line or any pricing from the venue itself.

The Three Monkeys
The correction. Three Monkeys is filed as a Packers bar across a remarkable number of NYC guides. Its own website says otherwise, in its own metadata: “Boston Sports, Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, New England Sports Bar.” There is no mention of Green Bay anywhere on it. A tri-level room with a deep tap list, self-branded as New England’s Manhattan outpost. The address matters too: it moved off 236 W 54th St and is now at 832 8th Ave — a third address, 795 8th Ave, circulates and is wrong. The honest caveat: self-branded, not on the NFL registry, and no published prices or sound policy.
Backups
Three verified big rooms for when the East Village is full. See the full NFL bars in NYC guide for the rest.
Stout — Bryant Park
The answer when your bar is at capacity or the game is a 4:25 you did not plan for. Stout lists this room for “Seattle Seahawks, Ohio State, James Madison and the University of Washington, plus NFL RedZone” — and RedZone is the point. Twenty-nine TVs and a 10-foot projector, the only one of the four Stouts that publishes a screen count. The local move: live DJ 1–6:30pm every football Sunday, so the room stays up after the early window ends. Not a Patriots room, but it will have the Patriots game on a screen.

Mustang Harry’s On now
The value play, and the only room in this guide that publishes both prices and a sound policy: $6.50 Bud Light, $7.50 house craft lager, $12 shot of the day, 2–5pm daily and again midnight to 2am, with “full ‘Game Sound’ throughout our two-floor space” for big events. The honest caveat: it is two blocks from the Garden and its own priority list runs Knicks, Rangers, UFC, Ravens — a Patriots game is not winning the speakers on a Rangers night.

Continental Sports Lounge On now
Seventy-plus screens and a video wall, the biggest football room downtown — with one thing to know first. Continental’s own site calls it the “Official Buffalo Bills Backers BAR in FiDi NYC,” which makes it a divisional room. On most Sundays that is irrelevant and there is more than enough glass for everyone. On a Patriots–Bills week it is very much not, and you should decide in advance whether that is fun or annoying. The local move: three blocks from the 2/3 at Wall St.

Watching the Patriots in NYC: FAQ
Where is the official Patriots bar in NYC?
Eastpoint at 25 Avenue B in the East Village is on the NFL’s official Patriots fan club and bar registry, which describes weekly watch parties for every game, big screens and “guaranteed game sound for the entirety of the game.” Halyards at 406 3rd Avenue in Gowanus is the registry’s only Brooklyn listing. Be aware the registry is not well maintained – see below.
Is Professor Thom’s still a Patriots bar?
No. Professor Thom’s at 219 2nd Avenue is permanently closed, despite still appearing on the NFL’s own official Patriots bar registry. The registry entry shows its own warning signs: hours listed as closed every day and a registration dating to 2014. Official-registry status is a good lead, not proof a bar is still trading, which is why we check every listing against the venue itself.
Is The Three Monkeys a Packers bar or a Patriots bar?
Patriots. Its own website’s metadata reads “Boston Sports, Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, New England Sports Bar,” with no mention of Green Bay anywhere. It is listed as a Packers bar across a large number of NYC guides, which appears to be an error propagating between them. It is also now at 832 8th Avenue, having moved off 236 W 54th Street; a 795 8th Avenue address also circulates and is wrong.
Where can I watch the Patriots in Brooklyn?
Halyards at 406 3rd Avenue in Gowanus, the only Brooklyn bar on the Patriots’ official registry. It is an easy R or F ride from most of brownstone Brooklyn. We confirmed the registry listing and that the bar is trading, but the venue itself publishes no game-day pricing or sound policy, so it is a less certain bet than Eastpoint.
What should I know about watching the Patriots at Continental Sports Lounge?
That it is the official Buffalo Bills Backers bar in FiDi, per its own website. It has 70+ screens and a video wall, so on a normal Sunday there is more than enough room and it is the biggest football space downtown. On a Patriots-Bills week it is a divisional room and the video wall will not be yours.
