The Happy Hour
Monday and Wednesday to Friday, 3–6pm: half off all drinks, per the café’s own site. The pill here covers Wednesday to Friday only, because another listing has the café closing at 2:45pm on Mondays.
The Room
It’s in the former Medical Center Luncheonette, with the original sign still over the door, exposed brick, big windows on Montgomery Street and an L-shaped counter. It started as a BYOB breakfast spot, then added a vintage bar with house cocktails. The same owner runs The Wanderer and One World Pizza around the corner on Baldwin Avenue. Closed Tuesdays.
