Tuesday happy hour in NYC is better than you think, and it is better than Friday. The best of it right now: Tacombi gives you two tacos for the price of one at all eleven NYC locations, Grey Lady runs a $20 martini with a double cheeseburger until close on Mondays and Tuesdays only, Lily’s in Astoria runs happy hour all day every day, Inwood Bar and Grill pours $1 house shots, and Continental Sports Lounge does $12 taco combos and $10 margaritas from 11am. Below: 33 bars and restaurants across all five boroughs, every deal read off the venue’s own menu this week, with the ones we got wrong called out by name.

Continental Sports Lounge On now
Taco Tuesdays run all day, and the combos are built for a table rather than a solo drink.
Continental is the rare sports bar whose Tuesday is priced for a group rather than a person. The $12 combo is three chicken or steak tacos, a giant pretzel with queso, or two jumbo mozzarella sticks, and every one of them comes with a 7oz beer or a soft drink. Around it: $10 margaritas, palomas and Mexican mules made with 818 blanco, a $15 draft Modelo and 818 shot, $25 buckets of Adios tequila seltzers, and two chilled 818 shots for $12. It runs all day. The Local Move: Dana White’s Contender Series screens here every Tuesday through mid-October, 8pm most weeks — get there before the first fight or you are standing. The Honest Caveat: Continental also lists a Monday-to-Friday 11am–8pm happy hour and publishes no prices for it anywhere, so we are not quoting any. The Taco Tuesday numbers above are the ones they put in writing.

Taco Tuesday: the ones that do the math
Every bar in New York claims a Taco Tuesday. These are the ones where the number actually moves. More cheap eating in our best tacos in NYC guide.
Tacombi On now
The best Taco Tuesday in New York is also the simplest: buy a taco, get a taco. Every taco on the menu, no membership card, no minimum, no asterisk about which three fillings qualify. Their own site says it in six words — buy 1 taco, get 1 taco — and it runs at all eleven NYC locations, from the FiDi room on Broad Street to Fort Greene to Forest Hills. The Verdict: nothing else on this page cuts a food bill in half this cleanly. The Local Move: Nolita is the original and the prettiest, but it’s also the one with the line — go to Bleecker or Amsterdam and walk straight in. The Honest Caveat: the 2024 press release said dine-in only, and Tacombi doesn’t repeat that restriction anywhere on the site today. Assume you have to sit down.

Phebe’s Tavern On now
Thirteen hours. That is how long Phebe’s runs three tacos for ten dollars and eight-dollar margaritas on a Tuesday — from noon until late, on a corner of the Bowery that has been a bar since before anyone reading this was born. The Verdict: the longest Tuesday-only price window we could verify anywhere in the city. Underneath it sits a normal weekday happy hour, Monday to Friday 4–8pm, with $5 bottled beers, $6 drafts, $8 pinot grigio and $10 select cocktails, so from four to eight you’re getting both. The Local Move: kitchen shuts at 10pm, so eat before you settle in. The Honest Caveat: the homepage and the specials page word the happy hour differently. The specials page is the detailed one, and holidays are excluded.

John Doe Craft Bar & Kitchen On now
Nine hours of happy hour with a Taco Tuesday stacked on top. From 11am to 8pm you get $1 oysters, $5 pints of their own lager, $7 house wine and wells, and $12 featured cocktails; on Tuesday that picks up $5 chicken and BBQ pulled pork tacos, $6 fish and beef, $5 shots of well tequila, $5 Modelo cans and $7 margaritas. The Verdict: the best hours-to-dollars ratio in NoMad, and the bar runs to 4am. The Honest Caveat — and it’s ours: we used to print “$1 oysters all day” here. That’s the Friday line on their menu. On a Tuesday the oysters live inside the 11am–8pm window, and there’s a six-piece minimum. Their own site also prices the tacos two different ways; we’re using the per-taco numbers off the homepage.
Someday Bar On now
Three-dollar tacos that change every week, nine-dollar margaritas made with Espolon blanco or 400 Conejos mezcal, and — the bit nobody prints — $5 cans of Jiant pineapple-jalapeño hard kombucha. The Verdict: the best-value Taco Tuesday in brownstone Brooklyn, and the one place on this list where the taco itself is the reason to go rather than the price. Underneath it, happy hour runs Monday to Friday 4–7pm: $4 Dirty Water seltzers, $6 select 16oz drafts, $7 well drinks and wine. The Honest Caveat: Someday publishes no start or end time for Taco Tuesday itself. It reads as all night and the bar is open till 2am, but they never actually say so — so we won’t either.

Vida Verde On now
A rooftop that stays open until 3am and prices its Tuesday tacos at seven dollars all day, with $5 Tecates thrown in as long as you’re ordering food. The Verdict: the latest-running Tuesday deal we verified — most of this list is dark by midnight and Vida Verde is still pouring at two. The Honest Caveat: this is not a jeans-and-sneakers room. Their own site posts an “upscale and trendy” dress code and it’s 21+ at all times, so the Tuesday value comes with a door policy the dives further down this page don’t have. The Local Move: go early. The 3:30pm open means you can have the roof to yourself for an hour before the after-work crowd walks up from Midtown.

Fresco’s Grand Cantina On now
Most bars give you three hours. Fresco’s gives you the whole Tuesday: happy hour runs all night, 3pm to close, alongside $7 margaritas, $12 taco trios and a $17 combo that gets you both. The Verdict: the best all-night Tuesday in Queens, and the clearest illustration of what this page is actually about — Tuesday is the night the window gets longer, not shorter. The Local Move: the covered jardín out back is the seat you want; the front room is where the noise lives. Worth knowing: the drink menu and homepage carry none of these prices — they exist only on the weekly specials page, which is also where the drag bingo and watch-party calendar lives.

Mason Jar NYC On now
Two deals that meet in the middle. The all-day happy hour runs from open until 7pm — $8 wine, $7 well mixed drinks, $5 Michelob Ultra and $6 Narragansett drafts — and then Tuesday’s $5 tacos and $7 margaritas run from 5pm to midnight, with live music at six. The Verdict: from five to seven you’re inside both, which is the cheapest two hours on Thirtieth Street. The Honest Caveat, and it’s a real one: Mason Jar publishes an exclusion for major sporting events, ticketed watch parties and holidays. This is a sports bar. Check what’s on before you build an evening around the price.

MamaTaco On now
Three dollars a taco, five for seafood, all day Tuesday, no window to miss and no minimum to hit. The Verdict: the cheapest straight taco price on this page after the Bronx, in a room that runs to half past midnight. The Honest Caveat — read this one: MamaTaco’s happy hour, the $1 wings and $8 margaritas everybody screenshots, runs Wednesday to Friday. It does not apply on a Tuesday. Tuesday is the taco price and nothing else, and if you walk in expecting a discounted margarita you’ll be paying full freight for it. Plan accordingly and the math still works.
mamatacobrooklyn.com · See our Bushwick happy hours
The Last Stop On now
Riverdale calls it Taco 2s Day and prices tacos at $2.75, tequila shots at $4, Bud Light at $5, margaritas at $7 and chips with guac at $6, four to ten every Tuesday. The Verdict: the cheapest taco on this page, in the borough this page used to ignore entirely. The Honest Caveat, and it’s about us: the first draft of this entry had $2 tequila, $2 beer and $2.50 tacos, and a “$20 Care Package” that does not exist on their menu. A second independent read of their own site killed all of it. The real numbers are still the best value in the Bronx — they’re just not impossible, and impossible is how you spot a number nobody checked.

The all-night and all-day Tuesdays
Bars that run three hours the rest of the week and the whole shift on a Tuesday. Compare with Monday and Wednesday.
Panda Harlem On now
Their own sentence does the work: happy hour is “available at the bar Tuesday through Thursday all night, and Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM.” Seven hours on a Tuesday, two on a Friday, same bar. The Verdict: the cleanest proof on this page that Tuesday is the night the deal gets longer — and $10 cocktails, $10 snacks and $7 beer and wine on the Hudson at 145th is a fair price for the view alone. The Local Move: it has to be a bar seat. Tables don’t get it. The Honest Caveat: they’re shut Mondays, so Tuesday is their opening night of the week and the room fills late rather than early.

Lily’s On now
Fourteen hours. Lily’s runs happy hour “all day every day” and actually means it: $5 Boot Brew on any draft $7 and under, $9 Bootrita, $8 City Girl Cosmo, $7 Spaghett, $8 rosé, $9 boilermaker. Noon to two in the morning, Tuesday included. The Verdict: the longest happy hour window on this page and there is no second place. The Local Move: the boilermaker is the value play — a Boot Brew and a well shot for nine dollars is the same math as a Manhattan dive charging fourteen. Worth knowing: they also run $35 Spaghett buckets, which is how a group of four drinks for the price of one round anywhere on this list.

Doha Bar Lounge On now
Five hours on a Tuesday, and it starts the second the doors open. Doha runs what it calls an all-day happy hour from open until 10pm, Tuesday through Sunday — $7 Coronas, Heinekens, Stellas and Blue Moons, with a flavoured Doharita or mojito for a dollar more. The Verdict: not the cheapest beer in Astoria, but five unbroken hours of it on the night nobody else bothers. The Honest Caveat: this is a hookah lounge with guest DJs, and their own copy promises an “energetic atmosphere” — which is a polite way of saying you are not having a quiet conversation here. They also run a $150 Casamigos bottle deal on Tuesdays, if that’s the night you’re having.

Bodega 88 On now
Seven hours in the afternoon and a second deal at night. Noon to 7pm it’s $5.50 beer, $6 wine and sangria, and $8 well drinks, mojitos, margaritas and caipirinhas; after 10pm you buy one drink and get the second at half price. The Verdict: the most total discounted hours on the Upper West Side, and one of only a handful of rooms on this page with a genuine late-night play. The Honest Caveat, twice over: their homepage says happy hour starts at 11am while their specials page says noon — we’re publishing the later one. And the late-night deal is advertised until 1am at a bar whose published closing time is midnight, so don’t roll in at 12:30 expecting it.

Hello Bar On now
A DJ on a Tuesday is the tell. Hello Bar opens the week on Tuesday — they’re shut Mondays — with happy hour from the minute the door unlocks at 5pm until 7 ($12 cocktails, $9 wine, $5 beer), and “$20 Tuesday with DJ Supa T”: three tacos and a margarita in any flavour, or a free margarita if you order a quesadilla instead. The Verdict: the only bar on this page running an actual party on a Tuesday night rather than a discount and a dead room. The Honest Caveat: the $20 deal has no published start or end time, only the DJ. Assume it lives in the evening and ask at the bar.
hellobarinc.com · See our more Brooklyn happy hours
Rudy’s Bar & Grill
Rudy’s has no happy hour and that is the entire point. There is no window to make, no 7pm cliff, no “select drafts” asterisk — the prices are the prices, eight in the morning until four the next one. A Jim Beam shot and a Rudy’s Blonde draft is $6. Fireball is $4. A Monopolio and a Sauza is $7, so is a Jameson pickleback, and every purchase comes with a free hot dog. The Verdict: on a Tuesday at 9pm, when most of this page has switched back to full price, Rudy’s is cheaper than every happy hour on it. Why it has no badge: we only light up venues with a real fixed window. Rudy’s doesn’t have one because it doesn’t need one.

Oysters, wine and rooms worth sitting in
Where Tuesday buys you a good room rather than just a cheap drink. More in our $1 oyster happy hours guide.
Grey Lady On now
Tuesday is one of only two nights Grey Lady runs a $20 martini with a double cheeseburger, and it runs from 4pm until close — long after the oyster window shuts. The Verdict: the best Tuesday-specific deal on the Lower East Side, and better than the oysters everyone comes for. Those are real too: $1 a piece with $6 drafts and $9 wine, Sunday to Wednesday 4–7pm. For scale, their 2026 menu prices the same oysters at $3–$4 and drafts at $8–$10. The Honest Caveat, and it’s ours: we published “Tue–Fri, $5 beers, $8 wines” here. The days were wrong at both ends and both prices were a dollar light. Thursday and Friday actually start at 1pm.

Valerie On now
A dollar oyster and a fourteen-dollar cocktail on West 45th is the kind of arithmetic that shouldn’t work. It does because Valerie’s regular cocktails are $20 and the freezer-door martinis run $28 to $30 — so the happy hour is a genuine thirty percent cut, not a rounding-down. Add $11 house wines, $7 select drafts and $16 cheese and charcuterie boats. The Verdict: the most comfortable room on this page at this price. The Local Move: 4–7pm falls in the gap between lunch ending and dinner starting, so it’s effectively a bar-service window and walk-ins work. The Honest Caveat: we had these cocktails at $13. They’re $14, and they have been for a while.
Roxy Bar On now
Two-dollar East Coast oysters and a ten-dollar Mini Roxy Martini, in a Tribeca hotel lobby with live jazz most nights. The Verdict: the prettiest room on this page for the money, and the martini is the order — it’s the one item people miss because the oysters get all the attention. Also $5 select draft and $10 select wine, four to six, every day. The Honest Caveat: “select” is doing work in that sentence and the Roxy doesn’t publish which pours qualify, so ask before you commit. Go Here Instead — on a Monday: the same specials run all night. And don’t confuse this with The Oyster Bar at the Roxy, a different room in the same building that publishes no prices at all.

Crown Alley On now
Thirteen cocktails at eight dollars is the number that matters here, not the oysters — though those are a dollar too. Margarita, negroni, old fashioned, mojito, moscow mule, aperol spritz, bee’s knees, gold rush and more, all $8, every day 4–7pm, plus $6 select draft and $8 select wine. The Verdict: the deepest discounted cocktail list on this page. Most bars give you two options and call it a happy hour menu. The Honest Caveat, and Crown Alley deserves credit for printing it: the oysters are a six-piece minimum, twelve maximum per person, dine-in only. That’s a real deal with real limits stated up front, which is rarer than it should be. Mezcal on the margarita is a dollar extra.

The Ten Bells On now
An eighteen-dollar carafe of natural wine and dollar oysters, by candlelight, at a communal barrel table on Broome Street. The Verdict: the best date on this page for under forty dollars, and the carafe is the move — it’s more wine than two glasses anywhere else in the neighbourhood for less money. The Honest Caveat: the deal runs from opening until 7pm, and on a Tuesday the door doesn’t open until 5. That’s a two-hour window, the tightest on this page, in a room small enough that showing up at 6:45 gets you nothing. The Local Move: be there at five, take a barrel, stay after the deal ends. Nobody will move you.

Siren On now
Dollar-fifty oysters and five-dollar beers in Park Slope, and Tuesday is the first night of the week they run — Siren is shut Mondays, so this is opening night. The Verdict: the best oyster price south of Prospect Park, in a room warm enough that you’ll stay past seven. Add $12 select cocktails and $12 wine. The Honest Caveat: the weekend window is actually different and earlier, 4–6pm Friday through Sunday, so the Tuesday-to-Thursday 5–7pm slot is the one to hold in your head. And their half-price wine bottles are a Wednesday thing — a lot of guides conflate the two. Come Tuesday for oysters, Wednesday for bottles.

Fraunces Tavern On now
The building is from 1719 and Washington said goodbye to his officers upstairs, which is a lot of history to attach to a $1.50 oyster — but here we are. The Local Move, and it’s worth real money: Fraunces runs two separate bars at two separate prices. Drafts are $9 at the Independence Bar and $7 at Lafayette’s Hideout. Same tavern, same happy hour, two dollars apart. Go downstairs. Oysters are $1.50 with a six-piece minimum, wine is $12, the Irish Mule is $14, and there’s a standing $15 plate of three oysters and a pint of stout all day. The Honest Caveat: they publish no opening hours anywhere on their own site, so call if you’re making a special trip.

Weather Up On now
Four cocktails at sixteen dollars — Moscow Mule, Revolver, Margarita, Daiquiri — plus $6 beer and a $12 glass of Tuscan rosé, five to seven. Against a regular list where cocktails are $18 and wine runs $14–$16, it’s a modest cut in a very good room. The Verdict: come for the bar, not the bargain; the white subway tile and the ice program are the reason. The Honest Caveat, and it’s the biggest correction we’ve ever run: we advertised “$1 oysters” at Weather Up across six pages. Weather Up serves no oysters. There is no raw bar. The snacks are almonds, corn nuts and olives. We read the happy hour off the menu image on their own site to be sure, twice.
LELABAR On now
LELABAR’s happy hour is “every day 4 til 6,” which sounds simple until you check the door. On a Monday they don’t open until five, so it’s a one-hour happy hour. On a Tuesday the door opens at 4pm, so Tuesday is one of the days you get the whole thing. $14 wine by the glass, $52 bottles, $7 beer, in a marble-and-mirrors room that seats about twelve. The Verdict: worth it for the wine list, not the discount. The Honest Caveat, ours again: we published “$3 oysters” here. LELABAR’s oysters are $4, they’re on the regular menu rather than the happy hour, and they’re listed “when available.” We also had their web address wrong — the old one doesn’t resolve at all.

Jake’s Dilemma On now
Five hours of a half-price bar and then a Tuesday-only second act. Three to eight, the whole bar is half off; at eight it flips to $10 beer-and-a-shot, $6 Jameson, $6 Sun Cruiser, $5 Heineken and $1 hot dogs until close at 2am. The Verdict: eleven hours with something knocked off it, on a Tuesday, on Amsterdam. Nothing on the Upper West Side touches that. The Honest Caveat, and it’s ours twice: we had this starting at 4pm and running Monday to Thursday. It starts at 3pm and runs Monday to Friday — we were giving away an hour and a whole day. Their own copy also says “some exclusions,” which they don’t itemise, so don’t assume the top shelf is in it.

The Stumble Inn On now
Seven hours of a genuinely half-price bar — noon to seven, Monday through Friday — and then Tuesday night keeps going: $4 Bud, Bud Light and Bud Light Seltzer cans, $5 well drinks and $7 top shelf, from 7pm until close. The Verdict: the longest half-price window on the Upper East Side, and the Tuesday night rates are honest ones. The Honest Caveat, and this is the worst thing we had on this page: we published a “$4 you-call-it” here. There is no you-call-it. The phrase appears nowhere on their site. It’s $4 on three specific Bud cans, and telling you that you could name any bottle for four dollars was the kind of error that gets you told no at a bar. Door opens at noon, not 11:30.

169 Bar On now
Five hours, seven days, and a structure worth understanding before you order: $2 off any liquor drink, $1 off any beer, and a beer-shot combo that puts a $2 well shot next to whatever you’re drinking. The Local Move: the combo is the play — well shots are excluded from the $2-off on their own, so the only way to get one cheap is to buy a beer with it. The Verdict: still the best-value dive on the Lower East Side, leopard-print pool table included. The Honest Caveat, ours, and it’s a bad one: we listed “$7 wine” here. 169 Bar sells no wine by the glass at all. We also had the window running to 7:30 and the discount as a flat dollar off everything. All wrong, all now fixed.
Inwood Bar and Grill On now
A dollar. That’s the house shot at the top of Manhattan, alongside $3 beers and $15 buckets, four hours a day, and Tuesday is the first day of the week it runs. The Verdict: the cheapest verified prices on this entire page, full stop — and the only reason more people don’t know is that it’s a 200th Street bar and most guides stop at 96th. The Local Move: it’s a four-minute walk from the A at Dyckman, which makes it a genuinely easy detour rather than an expedition. The Honest Caveat: a dollar shot is a dollar shot. Nobody is claiming this is a cocktail programme. It’s a loose, loud sports bar that prices drinks like it’s 2009.

Bella Union On now
Five dollars for an espresso martini is the cheapest we found anywhere in this sweep, and it runs four hours a night, Monday through Friday. Around it: $7 draft beers, $5 and $6 cans and bottles, $8 wines and $8 well mixed drinks. The Verdict: worth crossing Murray Hill for, and four hours is an hour longer than most of Manhattan gives you. The Honest Caveat, and it’s the whole catch: the $5 espresso martini is explicitly not valid on the rooftop, and the happy hour is dine-in only. Bella Union is a building with a roof deck people come for — if you go up, you pay full price. Stay downstairs. They publish no opening hours, so call ahead if you’re going early.

The Whiskey Brooklyn On now
A PBR tall boy or a seven-ounce Coors pony with a well shot, pickle or spicy back optional, for nine dollars. Add $8 well drinks, $8 wine, $12 wings and a $19 cheeseburger-and-a-beer. The Verdict: the most honest happy hour in North Williamsburg — no craft-cocktail theatre, no $19 negroni with a $2 discount pretending to be generous. The Honest Caveat: their own listing says only “Tuesday–Thursday til 8pm” with no start time; the door opens at 5, so Tuesday is a three-hour window. Worth knowing before you pay: they post a cash-versus-card price chart, so the number on the menu may not be the number on your receipt, and open tabs get 20% gratuity added.

Our only Staten Island entry on this page, and it earns the spot: buy one burger, get the second at half price, every Tuesday night, at a pub their own site says Food & Wine ranked in the top five for wings in the country. The Verdict: the best reason to eat on Forest Avenue on a weeknight, and there’s a Bay Ridge twin at 8622 Third Avenue running the identical deal if you can’t face the ferry. The Honest Caveat, twice: the burger deal is dine-in only and they publish no start time for it — “Tuesday night” is all they say, which is why this card has no live badge. And their happy hour menu is posted as an image with no readable prices, so we’re not quoting drink numbers we can’t stand behind.

Bar 47 On now
Five hours of happy hour — two to seven, Monday through Friday — and on Tuesday, $8 margaritas with Trivia with Jill. The Verdict: the most reliable weeknight room in Mott Haven, with a pool table and a monthly competition, in a neighbourhood that has gone from nothing to something in about five years. The Honest Caveat: Bar 47 publishes no prices at all for that five-hour happy hour. Not one. The $8 margarita is the only Tuesday number they put in writing, so it’s the only one we’ll print — the window is real and worth walking into, but go in knowing you’ll find out the rest at the bar.

Tuesday traps, and the ones we got wrong
Every one of these was live on this page or is live on somebody else’s. Five of the six are our own errors, found by re-reading the venue’s own menu this week.
The Stumble Inn does not run a “$4 you-call-it”
We published it, and our Google description advertised it. The phrase appears nowhere on their site. The real Tuesday night deal is $4 on three specific Bud cans — Bud, Bud Light and Bud Light Seltzer — plus $5 wells and $7 top shelf. Telling you that you could name any bottle for four dollars is the kind of error that gets you told no at a bar. Fixed, and the card now says exactly what four dollars buys.
169 Bar sells no wine by the glass
We listed “$7 wine” at a bar whose entire wine offering is two unpriced 187ml sparkling bottles. There is no glass pour at any price. We also had the window running to 7:30pm (it is 7pm) and the discount as a flat dollar off everything (it is $2 off liquor drinks, $1 off beer, and well shots are excluded). This is the second fabricated 169 Bar item we have killed in a week.
Weather Up has never served an oyster
We advertised “$1 oysters” at Weather Up across six separate pages. Weather Up has no raw bar. The snacks are almonds, corn nuts and olives. Their real happy hour — $16 cocktails, $6 beer, $12 wine, 5–7pm — exists only inside an image on their own site, so we opened it and read it by eye. Twice. It is on the page now, oyster-free.
Mister Paradise has no happy hour to publish
We ran “$9 cocktails, $2 oysters, $10 burger, Tue–Fri 5–7pm.” Mister Paradise publishes no menu, no hours and no happy hour anywhere on its own site. Every price traced to a 2021 listicle in which the oysters belong to Valerie — a different bar, also on this page. The claim got welded onto the wrong venue and we copied it. Removed entirely, because there is nothing to correct it to.
Grey Lady, Valerie and Jake’s Dilemma were all a little wrong
Grey Lady runs Sun–Wed, not Tue–Fri, and the beer and wine were each a dollar light ($6 and $9). Valerie’s cocktails are $14, not $13 — the third page of ours that has carried that number. Jake’s half-price bar starts at 3pm, not 4pm, and runs Monday to Friday, not Monday to Thursday. All three now match the venues’ own menus.
The web address we had for LELABAR does not exist
We linked lelabarnyc.com, which has no DNS record at all — every reader who clicked it got nothing. The live site is lelabar.com. Same week, we found the old 169bar.com now redirects to a domain-resale marketplace, so anyone clicking through landed on a for-sale listing. Both fixed here; both need a site-wide sweep.
Boxers HK runs 2-for-1 all night Tuesday and publishes no address
Their own site advertises “2 For 1 Tuesdays — Happy Hour ALL NIGHT Long,” against a 4–7pm window the rest of the week. It would be one of the best entries on this page. But every Boxers info page sits behind an age gate that returns an error, and no street address or opening hours are published anywhere we can read. We will not lift an address off a directory. Held until we can confirm it.
Dos Caminos advertises a happy hour that cannot happen
Their Times Square page lists happy hour “Monday–Friday 3PM–6PM, 9PM–Close.” The same site says the room closes at 9PM Sunday through Thursday. On a Tuesday that second window does not exist. Their Bottomless Taco Tuesday is real — $45 a head, 7–9PM, bar and lounge only — but $45 is not a happy hour, and the general happy hour publishes no prices at all.
Harlem Hops is shut, and half of Staten Island is unreadable
Harlem Hops publishes hours for Wednesday through Sunday only — no Tuesday. Meanwhile three of the strongest Staten Island leads (The Hop Shoppe, Mexican Cantina, Sofia’s Taqueria) publish their daily specials as image flyers with no readable text, and Ho’Brah’s specials menu maps to no day of the week at all. That is why this page has one Staten Island entry and not four.
Tuesday happy hour: FAQ
Is Tuesday a good night for happy hour in NYC?
Tuesday is the best weeknight for a happy hour in New York, and it is the one night when the deal tends to get longer rather than shorter. Panda Harlem runs happy hour all night Tuesday through Thursday but only 5-7pm on Friday. Boxers runs 2-for-1 all night Tuesday against 4-7pm the rest of the week. Fresco’s Grand Cantina in Astoria runs happy hour all night on Tuesday. Bars need the business on a Tuesday, so they compete for it.
Where is the best Taco Tuesday in NYC?
Tacombi is the strongest deal in the city: buy one taco, get one free, on every taco on the menu, every Tuesday, at all eleven NYC locations. For the cheapest straight price, The Last Stop in Riverdale runs $2.75 tacos and $4 tequila shots from 4pm to 10pm. MamaTaco in East Williamsburg does $3 tacos and $5 seafood tacos all day, and Phebe’s on the Bowery runs three tacos for $10 with $8 margaritas from noon until late.
What time does Tuesday happy hour start in NYC?
Most NYC Tuesday happy hours run 4-7pm, but four deals on this list start at 11am: Tacombi’s buy-one-get-one tacos, John Doe and Mason Jar in NoMad, and Continental Sports Lounge in the Financial District. The Stumble Inn opens its half-price bar at noon, Bodega 88 on the Upper West Side starts at noon, and 169 Bar starts at 2pm. If you are coming after work, be in the door before 5:30pm, because the cocktail rooms fill fast even on a Tuesday.
Where can I get $1 oysters in NYC on a Tuesday?
Five spots run oysters at a dollar. Grey Lady on Delancey does $1 oysters Sunday through Wednesday 4-7pm with $6 drafts and $9 wine. Valerie in Midtown runs $1 oysters weekdays 4-7pm. John Doe in NoMad has them inside its 11am-8pm happy hour with a six-piece minimum. Crown Alley in Chelsea does $1 oysters daily 4-7pm, minimum six and maximum twelve per person. The Ten Bells on Broome runs them from opening until 7pm.
Which NYC bars run a late-night happy hour on Tuesday?
Bodega 88 on the Upper West Side runs buy-one-get-one-half-price after 10pm. Jake’s Dilemma on Amsterdam flips to a $10 beer-and-shot with $1 hot dogs at 8pm until close. The Stumble Inn in Yorkville runs $4 Bud cans, $5 wells and $7 top shelf from 7pm. Vida Verde pours $7 tacos until a 3am close. And Rudy’s in Hell’s Kitchen has no happy hour at all, because its prices are already $6 for a shot and a beer at any hour.
Do these Tuesday happy hour deals ever change?
Constantly, which is why every deal on this page was read off the venue’s own website or menu this week rather than copied from a listings site. Where a venue publishes no price we say so instead of guessing, and where we got something wrong before we name it in the Tuesday traps section above. Deals still change without notice, so confirm with the bar before you build an evening around one.
Last updated: August 2026. Every deal here was read off the venue’s own site this week. Deals and hours change — confirm with the bar before you go. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we will fix it.
