Conwell Coffee & Cocktail Hall: A FiDi Art Deco Bank With $2 Oysters and $12 Martinis
Conwell Coffee & Cocktail Hall is in a historic Art Deco bank at 6 Hanover Street in the Financial District, and its happy hour is short and specific: Monday through Saturday, 5:30 to 7pm, with $2 oysters and $12 martinis. There’s also something it calls the FiDi Happy Meal; the site doesn’t say what’s in it or what it costs.
The building does double duty. By day it’s a coffee hall — espresso and house blends named Sleep No More, Skyscraper and The Vault — and daytime seating is first come, first served. By night it turns into a cocktail lounge with small plates to share, which is when the happy hour kicks in. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. Same room, two jobs: espresso at 8am, oysters at 6pm.
The Happy Hour
Happy hour runs Monday through Saturday, 5:30–7pm — a 90-minute window, so it rewards anyone who leaves the office on time. The deal: $2 oysters, $12 martinis, or the FiDi Happy Meal, which Conwell advertises without a price or a description. Ask what it is before you order it. There’s no Sunday happy hour. Verified on Conwell’s own site in October 2026.
The Room
Conwell is at 6 Hanover Street, a short walk from the 2 and 3 at Wall Street. It opens early — 7:30am on weekdays and 9am on weekends — and closes at 10pm Tuesday through Saturday and 9pm on Sunday and Monday. Evening reservations go through Resy; daytime coffee is first come, first served.
