Cooper’s Craft & Cocktails: An Irish-Owned Second Avenue Bar With a Nine-Hour Happy Hour
Cooper’s Craft & Cocktails is an Irish-owned bar on Second Avenue in the East Village, and the headline is the length of its happy hour: noon to 9pm Monday through Wednesday, and noon to 7pm on Thursday and Friday. The deal it advertises is a $10 Aperol Spritz.
“Here for the good times” is the house line, and the place backs it up with a full day of service — lunch, dinner, late-night snacks and weekend brunch, all made in-house — plus craft cocktails, local craft beer and frozen margaritas in classic, strawberry and mango. Long hours, big groups welcome.
The Happy Hour
Happy hour runs Monday to Wednesday from noon until 9pm and Thursday and Friday from noon until 7pm — one of the longer weekday windows in the neighborhood. The published deal is a $10 Aperol Spritz; Cooper’s doesn’t list the rest of its happy-hour prices online, so ask the bartender what’s on. There is no weekend happy hour. Checked against the venue’s own site in October 2026.
The Room
Cooper’s is at 87 Second Avenue, open seven days from noon until 2am, and until 3am on Friday and Saturday. It runs a full kitchen from lunch through late-night snacks, brunch on weekends, and takes large parties and events. The F at Second Avenue and the 6 at Astor Place are both a short walk.
