Grey Bar & Restaurant: A NoMad Sports Bar With $7 Stellas Until 7pm Every Day
Grey is a polished sports bar at 43 W 26th St, between Sixth and Broadway, and the reason to know it is a simple deal that runs every day: $7 Stella drafts and $9 house wine until 7pm. That’s not the cheapest pint in the city, but in NoMad, where a draft can hit $10, it’ll do. On weekends, when the doors open at 11:30am, you get seven hours of it.
The Deal
- $7 Stella Artois draft
- $9 house red or white wine
- Until 7pm, every day. The bar lists the specials as noon to 7pm, but it doesn’t open until 4pm Monday through Thursday and 3pm on Friday, so the weekday window is three to four hours. Saturday and Sunday it’s the full stretch from noon.
It’s a short list, two drinks, no food. Simple to remember, hard to argue with.
The Room
A sports tavern dressed up a notch from the usual NoMad dive: lots of screens, a long bar and table seating for food. It’s a spot people pick for big tournaments; the neighborhood BID listed it as a place to watch the Olympics. It takes reservations, which helps on game days.
The Food
American bar food: appetizers, thin-crust pizzas and burgers. Saturday brunch runs 11:30am to 3:30pm.
