Krupa Grocery: A Windsor Terrace Restaurant With a $9 Beer-and-Shot Happy Hour
Krupa Grocery is a neighborhood restaurant and bar on Prospect Park West in Windsor Terrace, on the South Slope line, and its happy hour runs Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6pm: $5 and $6 snacks, $12 classic cocktails, $12 natural wine and a $9 beer-and-shot. It’s an early window, built around the first hours of dinner service rather than a late night.
Krupa runs all day — coffee and pastry in the morning, brunch and lunch from 10am, dinner every night. The menu goes from $12 house-made chicken nuggets with honey to potato gnocchi Bolognese ($24) and a $34 flatiron steak. Out back there’s a sunny garden, heated in colder months, with picnic tables for groups up to eight, and dogs are welcome at the sidewalk tables out front.
The Happy Hour
Happy hour runs Monday through Thursday, 4–6pm: snacks at $5 and $6, classic cocktails and natural wine at $12, and a beer-and-shot combo for $9. There’s no Friday or weekend happy hour. One wrinkle on Krupa’s own site: the homepage says dinner starts at 3:30pm and the FAQ says 4pm; either way, happy hour starts at 4. The specific snacks aren’t listed, so ask what’s on. Verified on Krupa’s own site in October 2026.
The Room

It’s kid-friendly, takes walk-ins and books on Resy.
