Percy All Day: ROW NYC's Lobby Café-Bar With a Daily 5–7pm Happy Hour
Percy All Day is the 90-seat café and bar in the lobby of ROW NYC, at 700 8th Avenue and West 45th Street. The hotel reopened in May 2026 after a multi-year renovation, and Percy came with it. Verdict: it’s a hotel lobby bar, and it knows it, but a daily 5–7pm happy hour two blocks from half the Broadway houses earns it a spot on the pre-show list.
The name comes from Percy Claude Byron, the photographer whose early-1900s shots captured ordinary New York street life. That’s the most interesting thing about the decor, so enjoy it.
The Deal
Happy hour runs every day, 5 to 7pm. The list covers two house cocktails (the Violet Breeze and the 8th Avenue Spritz), sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and cabernet, and Sam Adams Lager, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois and a TALEA peach-berry sour on the beer side. The happy hour bites include chickpea hummus, deviled eggs, wild mushroom crostini, everything pretzels, Wagyu sliders and focaccia. The hotel calls the prices “special” and stops there, so don’t walk in expecting dive-bar math.
The Room
It works as three different rooms across the day. Breakfast is croissants, bodega-style egg-and-cheese sandwiches and cold brew from 6:30am. Lunch and the pre-theater crowd get sliders, flatbreads and short rib. After dark the cocktails take over. It’s a hotel lobby with 1,300 rooms upstairs, so expect rolling suitcases and a lot of first-time visitors.
The Drinks
Beyond the happy hour pair, there’s a Broadway & Bourbon house cocktail, the usual classics (dirty martini, Manhattan, old fashioned, margarita), zero-proof options, draft and bottled beer, and a full back bar.
