Asset: A Columbus Avenue Pan-Asian Spot Where Happy Hour Runs All Night on Monday
Asset is an Asian-inspired New American restaurant on Columbus Avenue between 75th and 76th, and its happy hour knocks a third off the cocktail list: signature cocktails drop from $18 to $12, select starters are $12, select wines $8 and craft taps $6. It runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6pm, and on Monday it runs all night.
The menu is billed as ’pan-Asian modern classics’ — seafood tom yum ($18), burrata ($22), an Angus burger ($25) — with cocktails like the Zacapa negroni, sidecar passion and a lychee island elixir, all $18 at full price, plus wine and sake lists. Regular starters run from $13 (steamed edamame) to $22 (burrata), which puts the $12 happy hour starters in context. It comes from the same team as TESSA, the Mediterranean restaurant.
The Happy Hour
Happy hour runs Monday all night and Tuesday through Friday, 4–6pm: $12 signature cocktails, $12 select starters, $8 select wines and $6 craft taps, the cheapest pour on the sheet. Asset’s own site is slightly split: its homepage gives the Monday-all-night schedule, while the happy hour box on its dinner menu says Monday to Friday, 4–6pm. Either way Monday is covered, and it’s the better of the two windows: the whole dinner service instead of two hours. Its listed full-menu hours start at 5pm on weekdays, so if you’re aiming for 4pm, call first. Checked on Asset’s own site and menu in October 2026.
The Room
Asset is at 329 Columbus Avenue, between West 75th and 76th Streets. Dinner runs 5–10pm Monday to Wednesday, 5–11pm Thursday and Friday, 4–11pm Saturday and 4–10pm Sunday, and there’s a weekend brunch menu. Delivery runs through DoorDash. The site has a reservations section but doesn’t name a booking platform, so call (212) 517-1987. The 1 at 79th Street and the B/C at 72nd Street are the nearest trains.
