Beer Street South: A Vanderbilt Avenue Beer Bar With $2 Off Drafts Weekdays 5–7pm
Beer Street South is a craft beer bar on Vanderbilt Avenue at Pacific Street in Prospect Heights, and its happy hour runs weekdays from 5 to 7pm: $2 off full pours of draft beer, $10 glasses of wine, $10 draft and frozen cocktails, and half off cider cans and bottles. Friday adds a $10 Paradiso Spritz, during happy hour and again after midnight.
The bar’s whole idea is local. Beer Street began in 2011 as a Williamsburg beer shop, and this Prospect Heights bar, open since 2020, pours beer, cider, wine, sake and spirits made in and around New York. The tap list leans into sours, saisons and stouts from the likes of Industrial Arts, Hudson Valley and Threes, and the cider list is all New York State.
The Happy Hour
Happy hour runs weekdays, 5–7pm: $2 off full pours of draft beer, $10 glasses of wine and $10 draft and frozen cocktails, and cider cans and bottles are half off, to-go included. The nightly specials stack on top: $10 classic martinis all night Monday, $10 beer-and-shot combos Tuesday, $10 glasses and half-price bottles and carafes Wednesday, and the $10 Paradiso Spritz on Friday. Saturday is half off the rare-bottle cellar and cider all day. The bar says specials are subject to change. Verified on Beer Street’s own site in October 2026.
