JJ Sports Bar: The Bar at Journal Square PATH
JJ Sports Bar is the only real bar at the Journal Square PATH, and it doesn’t post a happy hour. It’s here because it’s where you’ll end up: in the plaza, before the train or a show at the restored Loew’s Jersey Theatre, which reopens this fall.

The Room
In the old Emma’s space (and before that PJay Ryan’s Squared) at 4 Path Plaza. The menu mixes bar food and Indian dishes: wings with a tandoori-style sauce, lamb biryani, a crab cake sandwich.
Before You Go
For a real deal, Cafe Alyce in McGinley Square is half off all drinks 3–6pm on weekdays.
