Mugs Ale House: A Bedford Avenue Corner Bar Since 1992 With a Six-Hour Happy Hour
Mugs Ale House has been a Williamsburg corner bar since 1992, and its happy hour is built for an afternoon: Monday through Friday from noon to 6pm, every beer, every draft wine and every well drink is $2 off.
The bar was reopened and reimagined in 2022 by the team behind 11th St. Bar, and it leans into sport — more than a dozen TVs, and a go-to for World Cup mornings and big games. Big windows, plenty of outdoor seating, and it stays open until 4am every night.
The Happy Hour
Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from noon until 6pm: $2 off all beer, draft wine and well drinks. Six hours a day makes it one of the longest weekday windows on Bedford Avenue. No weekend happy hour. Verified on the Mugs website in October 2026.
The Room
Mugs is at 125 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, a roomy bar with big windows, a dozen-plus TVs and outdoor seating. It opens at noon on weekdays, 10am Saturday and 11am Sunday, and closes at 4am every night. The L at Bedford Avenue is a few blocks away.
