Lucky 7 Tavern JC: $5 Beer & a Shot, Downtown Dive
Lucky 7 is the downtown dive: a $5 PBR and a shot of bourbon, a jukebox, fourteen drafts and barbecue bar food. The happy hour window isn’t posted, but the specials are cheap enough that it doesn’t matter much.
The Happy Hour
Posted specials: a $5 beer-and-shot with Quality House Bourbon (PBR, Hamm’s, Boxer Light, Lone Star or High Life), $5 grapefruit Coors, $6 sloe gin fizz and $7 Mom’s Manhattan. The happy hour times are in images we couldn’t read; older listings disagree, so we haven’t printed a window.
The Room
A long-running bar on 2nd Street in the Village with a big bottle list, seven TVs and the jukebox it’s known for. Open from 3pm on weekdays, noon on weekends, until 2 or 3am.
