Almost every list of Saints bars NYC has published in the last five years points at Parkside Lounge on East Houston. We read Parkside’s own website and Instagram end to end in August 2026 and found no football content at all — the whole association traces to a single magazine feature from January 2019 that itself said the place only felt like a Saints bar. The one that is actually running Saints watch parties is Galway Hooker Bar at 133 7th Ave South, which calls itself the official New Orleans Saints bar of NYC and partners with the Krewe of NYC Saints, a fan club now in its twenty-fourth year. Start there, and see what the other guides get wrong.

The Saints bar every other guide names is not a Saints bar
This is the clearest example in the whole series of what happens when guides copy each other instead of checking. Nearly every “NYC Saints bar” list points at Parkside Lounge on East Houston. We read Parkside’s own website and its Instagram end to end in August 2026 and found no football content of any kind. Here is what is actually true.
| Bar | Address | What’s actually true | Who still lists it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parkside Lounge | 317 E Houston St | Open, but not a Saints bar today. Its own website and Instagram carry zero football content — the grid is live music, readings and album releases. Every listing traces to one magazine feature from January 2019, which itself said the bar only “feels like” a Saints bar, with no official designation. The “$4 Abita” special everyone repeats comes from that same piece. | 2ndhomesports, murphguide, and most Saints lists |
| Tito Murphy’s | 346 W 46th St | Closed. Yelp marks it closed as of July 2026. | Still on circulating Saints lists |
| East End Bar & Grill | 1664 1st Ave / 1672 3rd Ave | Two different addresses circulate and neither carries a Saints claim. The venue’s own site gives 1664 1st Ave and is pure takeout content; a fan group’s page uses 1672 3rd Ave. Its actual known identity appears to be a Syracuse alumni bar. | 2ndhomesports, a Meetup group, RoamRecs |
| Cat Sports Pub | 96 Greenwich St | Open, but the only retrievable content from its own site is a generic description. No Saints or NFL content found first-party. | 2ndhomesports |
None of this means Parkside is a bad bar — it is a good one, with a strict physical-ID, 21+ door policy worth knowing about. It just is not where Who Dat Nation watches football in 2026.

The Saints bar
One, in the West Village, partnered with a fan club that has been running for twenty-four years. It is not the bar you will find on any other list, and that is the point.
Galway Hooker Bar
The right answer, and almost nobody has it. Galway Hooker’s own Instagram: “Galway Hooker is proud to be the official New Orleans Saints bar of NYC. We’ve teamed up with @nycsaints to host weekly viewing parties all season long. Who Dat!” The Krewe of NYC Saints on the other end of that partnership describe themselves as “celebrating 24 years as the official NYC home of the New Orleans Saints and Who Dat Nation” — and were still posting from this bar in March 2026. The verdict: a proper Irish pub on 7th Ave South with an organised Who Dat crowd, which is more than any other guide will point you to. The honest caveat: the explicit “official Saints bar” post dates from last season, so call before you travel across town for Week 1.

Reliable backups
Four verified big rooms for a Sunday when you do not want to cross town. More in the full NFL bars in NYC guide.
Stout — Bryant Park
The answer when your bar is at capacity or the game is a 4:25 you did not plan for. Stout lists this room for “Seattle Seahawks, Ohio State, James Madison and the University of Washington, plus NFL RedZone” — and RedZone is the point. Twenty-nine TVs and a 10-foot projector, the only one of the four Stouts that publishes a screen count. The local move: live DJ 1–6:30pm every football Sunday, so the room stays up after the early window ends. Not a Saints room, but it will have the Saints game on a screen.

Overlook On now
The most reliable big room for a fanbase without one. Thirty-plus TVs, two jumbotrons, and a happy hour that runs 4–7pm every day including Sunday — half-price apps, $5–$6 drafts, $7 wells. Most rooms suspend the discount for football. The local move: Wednesday’s $1 Bud Light drafts, 7–9pm, and Thursday’s late happy hour from midnight to 3am for a west-coast Thursday nighter.

Continental Sports Lounge On now
Seventy-plus screens and a video wall, and the only bar in this guide whose own site names the team it belongs to — the “Official Buffalo Bills Backers BAR in FiDi NYC.” That matters to a Saints fan for the obvious reason: with that much glass, every other game still gets a screen, and downtown has nothing else close to this size. The local move: three blocks from the 2/3 at Wall St, and unlike the rest of FiDi it does not empty out at 6pm on a weekend. The honest caveat: if the Bills are playing, the video wall is spoken for.

Mustang Harry’s On now
The value option, with the cheapest published beer in this guide: $6.50 Bud Light, $7.50 house craft lager, $12 shot of the day, 2–5pm daily and again midnight to 2am. Their FAQ promises “full ‘Game Sound’ throughout our two-floor space” for big events, which for a fanbase with no room of its own is worth asking about at the door. The honest caveat: its own priorities are Knicks, Rangers, UFC and Ravens.

Watching the Saints in NYC: FAQ
Where is the Saints bar in NYC?
Galway Hooker Bar, 133 7th Avenue South in the West Village. Its own Instagram post reads: “Galway Hooker is proud to be the official New Orleans Saints bar of NYC. We’ve teamed up with @nycsaints to host weekly viewing parties all season long. Who Dat!” The Krewe of NYC Saints, the fan club on the other side of that partnership, describes itself as celebrating 24 years as the official NYC home of Who Dat Nation.
Is Parkside Lounge still a Saints bar?
No. Parkside Lounge at 317 E Houston Street is open and is a good bar, but as of August 2026 its own website and Instagram carry no football content whatsoever – the feed is live music, readings and album releases. Every listing naming it as the Saints bar traces back to a single January 2019 magazine feature, which itself said the venue only “feels like” a Saints bar with no official designation. The “$4 Abita” special repeated on other lists comes from that same seven-year-old article.
What happened to Tito Murphy’s?
It is permanently closed – Yelp marks it closed as of July 2026. It still appears on circulating lists of NYC Saints bars, which is a good illustration of how little checking those lists get.
Is East End Bar & Grill a Saints bar?
We could not verify that it is. Two different addresses circulate for it – 1664 1st Avenue, which the venue’s own site gives, and 1672 3rd Avenue, which fan pages and aggregators use – and neither carries any first-party Saints or NFL claim. A Facebook group suggests its actual known identity is a Syracuse alumni bar. Until someone confirms otherwise by phone, we are not listing it.
Where else can I watch the Saints in NYC?
Overlook at 225 E 44th Street has 30+ TVs, two jumbotrons and a happy hour that runs 4-7pm every day including Sunday. Continental Sports Lounge in FiDi has 70+ screens and a video wall. Mustang Harry’s publishes both prices and a full game-sound policy. For every game at once, Stout Bryant Park carries NFL RedZone every Sunday.
