NFL Bars
in NYC
Every bar has thirty TVs. The only question that matters is whose game gets the sound.
The 2026 season opens Wed 9 Sept — first full Sunday is 13 Sept
- 32 teams checked
- 14 verified rooms
- 17 teams with a real NYC home
- season opens 9 Sept
The short version
- Best overallContinental Sports Lounge – 70+ screens, a video wall, and the official Bills Backers bar in FiDi.
- Loudest roomHaswell Green’s – 300+ capacity, 16 seasons of Browns Backers, $30 five-beer buckets.
- Best sound policyOlde City – “Eagles game sound with music during commercials,” in their own words.
- If your team has no barStout Bryant Park – NFL RedZone every Sunday, 29 TVs and a 10ft projector.
- The catch nobody printsBlue Haven South’s happy hour excludes “major sporting events” – the discount is off during the game.
The best NFL bars NYC has right now are Continental Sports Lounge in FiDi for the Bills, Haswell Green’s on West 52nd for the Browns, Kettle of Fish on Christopher Street for the Packers, Hibernia in Hell’s Kitchen for the Steelers, and Olde City for the Eagles — each one a room where a single team gets the audio, not just a screen. Seventeen of the 32 teams have a genuine New York home. The other fifteen have NFL RedZone at Stout Bryant Park, and we would rather tell you that than invent a bar. Below: all 32 teams, the four Stout rooms and which team each one belongs to, and the bars that other guides still recommend that have been closed for years.

Every team, every bar
All 32 teams, checked in August 2026 against each venue’s own website or social account — not against the other guides, which is how five of them still list bars that closed years ago. Where we could not verify a dedicated New York home, we say so rather than inventing one.

Map: where these 14 spots are
Clustered in Midtown and FiDi, with the two best single-team rooms — Kettle of Fish and John Brown BBQ — deliberately not in Midtown at all.
Pins are numbered to match the table above – tap any pin for the deal and directions.
The real team houses
Six bars where one team owns the room and says so in public. These are the ones with a fan club, a dedicated audio policy, or both. Every one of them is verified against the venue’s own site or social account, not a recycled listicle.
Continental Sports Lounge On now
The single best-equipped football room downtown, and the only NYC bar on this page that says out loud which team it belongs to: its own About page calls it the “Official Buffalo Bills Backers BAR in FiDi NYC.” Seventy-plus screens and a video wall mean the Bills own the big glass on Sunday and everything else still gets a TV. The local move: it is three blocks from the 2/3 at Wall St and it does not empty out like the rest of FiDi does at 6pm on a weekend. The honest caveat: exact game-day bundle pricing is not published — ask at the bar rather than planning a budget around a number you read somewhere.

Haswell Green’s
The loudest single-team room in New York and it is not close. Big Apple Browns Backers call 2026 their sixteenth season here, and the bar’s own sports page says “Home of the Cleveland Browns & OU Sooners.” Prices are published, which is rarer than it should be: $30 for a five-beer bucket, $18 wings, $7 Bud Light draft. The honest caveat: no reservations on Browns Sundays, doors and seating start 90 minutes before kickoff, and the Backers’ own house rule bans Steelers fans outright — their words, “ZERO EXCEPTIONS.” Take that as seriously or as lightly as you like.

Hibernia Bar
The best sentence any NYC sports bar has written about itself: “our bartenders don’t channel surf, we watch the Steelers.” They also claim to play “the same songs, anthems, and sound bites you’ll hear at Heinz Field.” Six HDTVs and a projection screen is a small room by Midtown standards, and that is the point — nobody is negotiating over what’s on. The honest caveat: they publish no drink prices anywhere, so this is a room recommendation, not a value one.
hiberniabar.com · See our Hell’s Kitchen happy hours
Kettle of Fish
Their own page, verbatim: “during games all TV’s are tuned into the Packers with sound through our audio system.” Then the part nobody else prints — “We have a two drink minimum.” Free cheese, crackers and summer sausage come out during the game, which is either charming or exactly what you’d expect, depending on where you grew up. Worth it: a dark West Village bar open to 4am that turns into Green Bay for three hours is a better Sunday than any 40-screen box in Midtown.

Slattery’s Midtown Pub
The most thoroughly documented team-bar marriage in the city: Slattery’s own navigation has an Official Game Watch link pointing straight at Dolfans NYC, and Dolfans’ site names Slattery’s back. The club’s own history says the bar offered to build them a museum in the back and donate a cut of every Sunday. The local move: the Dolfans bus to the MetLife takeover on 25 October leaves from here — $50 early bird until 13 September, $60 after, check-in 7:30am. The honest caveat: the daily specials run on a calendar that changes weekly, so check the site the morning of.
Overlook On now
Thirty-plus TVs and two jumbotrons a block from Grand Central, with a real happy hour that runs 4–7pm every day — half-price apps, $5–$6 drafts, $7 wells — plus a late one Thursday and Friday from midnight to 3am. The Bears connection is the fan club’s, not the bar’s: @beardownnyc calls itself the best Bears fan club in the country and runs its weekly watches here. The local move: Wednesday’s $1 Bud Light drafts run 7–9pm, which is the cheapest hour on this entire page.

The sound map: one chain, four teams
Stout runs four Manhattan rooms and assigns each one a different NFL team’s audio. Nobody else publishes this, and it is the fastest answer to “where do I watch my team” if you support Denver, Kansas City, Green Bay or Seattle. All four also carry Jets and Giants games — Stout’s words: “Of course, every location will also have Jets and Giants games on.”
Stout — Penn Station
Stout’s own words for this location: “catch every Denver Broncos game live.” Note the address. The Jets’ own official bar network still lists this Stout at 133 W 33rd St; Stout’s own site says 215 W 35th St, and the venue wins. If you have been given the wrong corner by an official team page, that is why. Opens earlier on Garden event days.

Stout — FiDi
Billed for “University of Missouri (Mizzou) and Kansas City Chiefs fans.” If you want Chiefs football in Manhattan rather than a trip to Queens, this is the room. Go here instead of guessing at a generic Midtown box — four Stouts, four different teams, and this is the one that is yours. Closes earliest of the four on weeknights.

Stout — Grand Central
Stout assigns this one “University of Texas and Green Bay Packers action.” It is the commuter option — straight out of Grand Central, no transfer. Worth knowing: if you want Packers with the room rather than Packers with a train home, Kettle of Fish downtown is the actual Green Bay house and puts every screen on the game.
stoutnyc.com · See our Grand Central happy hours
Stout — Bryant Park
The one to know if your team has no New York home. Stout lists this location for “Seattle Seahawks, Ohio State, James Madison and the University of Washington, plus NFL RedZone” — and RedZone is the answer for the fifteen or so fanbases with nowhere else to go. Twenty-nine TVs and a 10-foot projector, the only Stout that publishes a screen count. The local move: live DJ 1–6:30pm every football Sunday at all four locations, so come for the game and stay for a room that doesn’t die at 4pm.

Big rooms that will have your game on
For the fifteen-odd fanbases with no New York home, and for the Sunday your bar is at capacity. See also our best sports bars in NYC guide and the Sunday happy hour roundup.
Mustang Harry’s On now
The rare big Midtown room that publishes both its prices and its sound policy: “For big events, we provide full ‘Game Sound’ throughout our two-floor space.” Happy hour is $6.50 Bud Light, $7.50 house craft lager, $12 shot of the day — 2–5pm, and again from midnight to 2am. Their Instagram bio names them “Official NY Knicks, NY Rangers, UFC, Ravens HQ.” The honest caveat: it is two blocks from the Garden, so a Knicks or Rangers night will outrank your football game for the good screens.
mustangharrys.com · See our Chelsea happy hours
Blue Haven South
Forty-four screens and a spot on the Giants’ own official bar network. Also the single most useful piece of small print we have found on any sports bar in New York: their specials page excludes “holidays and major sporting events.” The discount is off during the games you would come here for. Nearly every packed sports bar in the city does this. Almost none of them say so, which is why we keep pointing at this one. Come for the screens, not the savings.

Olde City Cheesesteaks & Brew
The clearest sound policy published by any bar in this guide, in their own words: “Eagles game sound with music during commercials. We will show other games with sound when Eagles are not playing.” No ambiguity, no negotiating with a bartender. Four NYC locations — 9th Ave, Madison Ave, 3rd Ave and Amsterdam. The honest caveat, and it is a real one: they take no reservations and your full party must be present to sit. Showing up first to hold a table for four does not work here.
loveoldecity.com · See our best cheesesteaks in NYC
John Brown BBQ
Their own Instagram bio calls it the “Official Chiefs Hangout,” and the owner has said on the record that the 2019 Super Bowl run and Patrick Mahomes kept the restaurant alive going into the pandemic. It is a barbecue restaurant that adopted a team, not a sports bar — set your expectations accordingly. The honest caveat, and it matters: they close at 9pm Monday to Thursday and 10pm the rest of the week. A late West Coast kickoff or a Sunday-night game will outlast them.

NFL bars in NYC: FAQ
Which NYC bars have NFL Sunday Ticket?
Almost none publish it. Of the dozens of NYC sports bars we have checked across 2026, only Blackbird’s in Astoria states NFL Sunday Ticket on its own website. What is far more common, and more useful, is a bar committing its audio to one team: Kettle of Fish for the Packers, Olde City for the Eagles, Hibernia for the Steelers and Haswell Green’s for the Browns all say so in writing. For every-game coverage, Stout Bryant Park carries NFL RedZone every Sunday.
Where do I watch my team in NYC if it has no dedicated bar?
NFL RedZone at Stout Bryant Park, 109 W 39th St, every Sunday – 29 TVs and a 10-foot projector. Fifteen of the 32 teams have no New York home we could verify, including the Cardinals, Falcons, Panthers, Bengals, Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Raiders, Chargers, Rams, Lions, Vikings, Buccaneers, Titans and Commanders. Continental Sports Lounge in FiDi (70+ screens) and Overlook in Midtown East (30+ TVs and two jumbotrons) are the other reliable big rooms.
Which Stout location shows my team?
Stout assigns a different team’s audio to each of its four Manhattan rooms. Penn Station (215 W 35th St) is the Denver Broncos room. FiDi (90 John St) is Kansas City Chiefs and Mizzou. Grand Central (60 E 41st St) is Green Bay Packers and University of Texas. Bryant Park (109 W 39th St) is Seattle Seahawks, Ohio State, James Madison and Washington, plus NFL RedZone. All four carry Jets and Giants games and run a live DJ from 1pm to 6:30pm every football Sunday.
Do NYC sports bars run happy hour during NFL games?
Frequently not, and they rarely tell you. Blue Haven South’s specials page excludes “holidays and major sporting events” outright – the discount is off during exactly the games you would go there for. Assume game-day pricing unless a bar says otherwise. The exceptions worth knowing: Overlook runs 4-7pm every day including Sunday, and Mustang Harry’s runs 2-5pm daily plus midnight to 2am.
When does the 2026 NFL season start?
The 2026 season opens Wednesday 9 September, with the first full Sunday slate on 13 September. Bars that take reservations for big games – Penn 6 for the Bills, Wogie’s for the Eagles – fill up well before Week 1, and Haswell Green’s takes no reservations at all on Browns Sundays, with seating from 90 minutes before kickoff.
