No happy hour — Marquee is a late-night bottle-service nightclub open only Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 PM, with entry via ticket, guest list, or table. This is a big-room EDM club, not a bar with a drinks window. There’s no happy hour; access runs on cover charges, advance tickets, guest list, or bottle-service tables, and table minimums start in the hundreds and climb into the thousands for prime dance-floor real estate.

Marquee New York in Chelsea

Marquee is one of NYC’s flagship electronic-dance-music clubs, a Tao Group room on 10th Avenue that’s been a nightlife landmark since 2003. It reopened in September 2025 after a full renovation — its third in two decades — reimagined as a nightclub-meets-music-box with an expanded dance floor, a massive LED system, and a DJ booth that converts to a live stage.

Nights skew big and loud: open-format Wednesdays, underground house Fridays, and commercial house Saturdays, with a headliner roster that has included Diplo, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, and Illenium. Dress to impress, and expect the evening to run on tables and bottle service rather than a bar tab.

What to Expect

There’s no happy hour at Marquee. It’s a late-night nightclub that opens at 11 PM on just three nights a week, and the economics run on cover charges, advance tickets, guest list, and bottle-service tables — not discounted drinks. Table minimums commonly start around $750 and climb well past $4,000 for prime dance-floor spots, with bottles running several hundred dollars each.

The Room

Post-renovation, the space is built for spectacle: an expanded dance floor, a wraparound catwalk, a wall-to-wall LED system, and a DJ booth that transforms into a live performance stage. Go-go and performance dancers work the room, and the layout is oriented around VIP tables ringing the floor.
