The Upstairs at 66: A Stone Street Game Room and Lounge
The Upstairs at 66 is the second-floor game room above Route 66 American Kitchen & Bar on historic Stone Street in the Financial District. Once an event space, it was rebuilt into a lounge stocked with shuffleboard, ping-pong, giant Jenga and Connect 4, plus Sega and Nintendo consoles and a wall of arcade games.
It runs on a first-come, first-served basis when it isn’t booked for a private party, and it’s 21-plus after 5pm. With Route 66’s kitchen and bar behind it, you get full food and drink service alongside the games — a rare downtown spot built for grown-up play.
The Happy Hour
The happy hour comes from the parent venue, Route 66, running daily from 4 to 7pm on drinks. Most of the games are free to play as long as you’re eating or drinking, so a happy-hour visit gets you shuffleboard and console time without a cover — just note the space frequently books private events, so call ahead to confirm walk-in availability.
The Room
A second-floor lounge with exposed brick, big projector screens and a spread of games — shuffleboard, ping-pong, foosball, skee-ball, arcade cabinets and giant lawn games indoors. Casual and social, it flips 21-plus after 5pm and often hosts private parties.
