The short version

  • The biggest crowdJack Doyle's — Arsenal NYC's biggest matchday room, 10am–4am daily.
  • 7:30am kickoffThe Football Factory at Legends — 7am Saturday door, the only one in Manhattan. Shuts at 7pm.
  • Best actual dealSeven Sins — $7 drafts and wine, $8 mixed, $12 cocktails, Tue–Fri 4–7pm.
  • BrooklynHighbury Pub — named after the old ground, shared with Barcelona and Gotham fans.
  • Know before you goThere is no single Arsenal NYC headquarters. Nine partner pubs, and two venues still claiming a title the club no longer gives them.

The best places to watch Arsenal in NYC right now are Jack Doyle's in the Garment District, O'Hanlon's in the East Village and Highbury Pub in Ditmas Park — all three official Arsenal NYC partner pubs — with The Football Factory at Legends as the only Manhattan room that opens at 7am for a dawn kickoff. Here is the thing every other list gets wrong: Arsenal NYC has no single headquarters. It runs a network of nine partner pubs across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island and Westchester, and two well-known venues still advertise a title the club no longer gives them. We checked the club's own list against every venue's own site. Below: nine verified rooms, what each actually publishes, and who opens early enough to matter — the Arsenal bars NYC actually drinks in, not the ones aggregators keep recycling.

The Arsenal NYC pubs in Manhattan

Arsenal NYC runs a network of partner pubs rather than one headquarters — these are the Manhattan four. For the wider picture see our guide to the best soccer bars in NYC.

Jack Doyle's

Garment District, biggest Gooner crowd · 240 W 35th St $$$
No published happy hour — their specials page says it's being updatedcall ahead
Early kickoffsOpens 10am daily — covers 10am kickoffs, not 7:30am

The Verdict: if you want to be in a room full of Gooners and you only get one shot, this is it. Arsenal NYC calls it home to one of their biggest matchday crowds, and the pub says so itself on its own site — a rare case of both sides agreeing. Open since 2012, ten in the morning to four in the morning, seven days. The Honest Caveat: that 10am door is a hard floor. For a 7:30am Saturday kickoff you are going somewhere else, and their happy hour is currently a question mark — the specials page literally reads “we are updating our specials.” We are not going to invent a price for you. The Local Move: it takes online reservations, which almost no Arsenal pub in this city does. Use them on a North London derby.

O'Hanlon's

East Village, the club's longest-running room · 349 E 14th St $$$
No published happy hourcash-friendly dive pricing
Early kickoffsReported 8am weekends — not published by the bar, so call

The Verdict: the sentimental favourite, and the one with the most continuity. When the Blind Pig on 14th Street died in 2019 — for a long time the most famous Arsenal bar in America — O'Hanlon's picked up the crowd. The 2018 handover of the club presidency happened here. Eleven screens, sixteen taps, pool, darts, shuffleboard. The Honest Caveat: they have no website. Not a thin one, none — just Facebook and Instagram. Every opening hour you will read about this pub, including the 8am weekend open everyone repeats, traces back to a third party. It is probably right. It is not published. Ring the bar before you set an alarm for a dawn kickoff.

Crompton Ale House

Chelsea, the big-group room · 159 W 26th St $$$
No standard happy hour published — boozy brunch 11am–4pm, no prices givensee caveat
Early kickoffsOpens 11am daily — misses both early windows on published hours

The Verdict: the room you book when fourteen of you want to watch together and nobody wants to stand. Arsenal NYC lists it and calls it a massive space for lively supporters. It takes online reservations and does private events, which is the actual reason to pick it. The Honest Caveat: on its published hours it opens at 11am, which misses a 7:30am kickoff and misses a 10am one too, and Crompton does not mention Arsenal anywhere on its own website despite being a club partner. An early-open exception almost certainly exists. It is not written down. Go Here Instead for a morning game — Legends or Olde City, both below.

Seven Sins On now

Gramercy, the only partner with a real published happy hour · 293 3rd Ave $$$
$7 select draft & wine, $8 mixed drinks, $12 craft cocktailsTue–Fri 4–7pm
Early kickoffsNo — and it is closed Sunday and Monday entirely

The Verdict: the only pub on Arsenal NYC's partner list that publishes an actual happy hour with actual prices, and it is a good one — $7 drafts and wine, $8 mixed drinks, $12 craft cocktails, Tuesday to Friday, four till seven. Groups of eight or more get appetiser platters thrown in. The Honest Caveat, and it is a big one: on its own published hours Seven Sins is closed Sunday and Monday. A partner pub that cannot show you a Sunday fixture is a strange thing, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The Local Move: use it for a midweek Champions League night, when the 4–7pm window actually lines up with a 3pm kickoff and you are drinking before the whistle rather than after it.

Brooklyn and Queens

Three outer-borough rooms, one of them named after the old ground. More local options in our Brooklyn and Queens guides.

Highbury Pub

Ditmas Park, named after the old ground · 1002 Cortelyou Rd $$$
No published happy hourdive pricing
Early kickoffsListed 9am weekends and “open early for EPL” — third-party, so call

The Verdict: the one Arsenal bar in this city literally named after Arsenal's old ground, opened in 2013 by Jimmy Grimason on a Ditmas Park corner. The best detail is who else is in the room: Highbury is a shared house — Arsenal, Barcelona and the Gotham supporters all drink here, and the chalkboard reads “Away fans welcome.” The Honest Caveat: the hours are a mess. One listing says 9am weekends, the owner told a local paper in 2013 he was planning 7am Saturdays, and the pub's own site is built in a way we could not read. It was cash-only when it opened, thirteen years ago, which may or may not still be true. Ring 347-533-4557 before you ride the Q down.

Paddy's of Park Slope

South Slope, small room, founded by a Gooner · 273 13th St $$$
No published happy hourneighbourhood pricing
Early kickoffsNot published — call 718-369-0831

The Verdict: the least sports-bar sports bar on this list, and that is the point. Mark Langton opened it in 2015 in the old Lucky 13 Saloon after seven years running Nellie Lang's in Manhattan, and built it deliberately as a room where women and LGBTQ+ regulars are looked after — staff are trained for it. Arsenal NYC describes it as a Park Slope gem founded by a lifelong Gooner. Small room, tight crowd, Guinness, a big weekly darts league. The Honest Caveat: they publish nothing — no site, no hours we would stand behind, and one aggregator claims 11am–9pm daily, which is nonsense for an Irish pub. You share the room with Jets, Mets and Giants crowds depending on the day. Phone first.

Bar 43

Sunnyside, Queens — and a claim worth checking · 43-06 43rd St $$$
No published happy hourneighbourhood pricing
Early kickoffsNo — opens noon Fri–Sun, 3pm Mon–Thu

The Verdict: the only Queens room with an Arsenal claim, and useful for an evening fixture. Now the part no other list will tell you. Bar 43's own website still describes it as the official headquarters of the Arsenal NYC supporters club, dating that to 2017/18. Arsenal NYC's current partner list — nine pubs, published on their own site — does not include it. We checked both. Somebody's page is out of date and we cannot tell you which. The Honest Caveat, regardless: it opens at noon on weekends and 3pm on weekdays, so it cannot show you a morning kickoff no matter whose headquarters it is. It is also a Gotham partner pub. Treat it as a good local for a night game, not as the mothership.

Olde City On now

Upper West Side, breakfast and a 9am door · 201 Amsterdam Ave $$$
$6 draft, $10 classic cocktails, $10 natural wine, $9 SurfsidesMon–Fri 4–8pm & 11pm–close nightly
Early kickoffsYes for 10am — opens 9am Fri–Sun with breakfast sandwiches

The Verdict: the best combination of a real published happy hour and a door that opens before most of this list has got out of bed. Nine in the morning Friday through Sunday, breakfast sandwiches on, $6 drafts and $10 cocktails from 4pm on weekdays and again from 11pm every night. The Why: it was Arsenal NYC's designated home for the 2023/24 season, at their old Chelsea location, and the room still runs Arsenal. The Honest Caveat: that partnership has lapsed — Olde City still says on its own site that it is the new home for Arsenal supporters in NYC, and Arsenal NYC's current list does not include them. It is an Arsenal room, not the club's HQ. Also note the chain's happy hour starts at 3pm or 4pm depending on location and they do not say which is which, so we have printed the later time.

The Football Factory at Legends

Midtown, the only 7am door in Manhattan · 6 W 33rd St $$$
No published happy hour—
Early kickoffsYes — 7am Saturday, 9am Sunday. Closes 7pm both days

The Verdict: no Arsenal group meets here, and you should still know about it, because it is the only room in Manhattan that publishes a 7am Saturday door. Thirty-plus supporters groups, a hundred-plus matches a week, three levels with the Football Factory on the lower one, 21+. When Arsenal draw the 7:30am slot and your local does not open till ten, this is the answer. The Honest Caveat that every other list misses: it closes at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. A daytime operation. For an evening kickoff it is shut, and you are back to Jack Doyle's.

Watching Arsenal in NYC: FAQ

Where is the official Arsenal supporters club bar in NYC?

There isn't one. Arsenal NYC, the official supporters club founded in 2007, runs a network of nine partner pubs rather than a single headquarters: Jack Doyle's, O'Hanlon's, Crompton Ale House, Seven Sins, Highbury Pub, Paddy's of Park Slope, Fancy Free, Goody Two Shoes on Long Island and J.P. Doyles in Sleepy Hollow. Jack Doyle's and O'Hanlon's draw the biggest Manhattan crowds. Arsenal's own club directory is badly out of date and still lists two bars that have closed.

Which NYC bar opens early enough for a 7:30am Arsenal kickoff?

The Football Factory at Legends at 6 W 33rd St, which publishes a 7am Saturday door and 9am on Sunday. It is the only Manhattan room with early opening in writing. Note it closes at 7pm both weekend days, so it is no use for an evening fixture. Olde City on Amsterdam Ave opens at 9am Friday through Sunday, which covers a 10am kickoff but not a 7:30am one.

Can you actually drink at 7:30am in New York?

Not straight away. New York State licenses on-premises alcohol from 8am Monday through Saturday, and not until 10am on Sunday, in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens alike. So a 7:30am Saturday kickoff means the first half hour is coffee and breakfast, and a 10am Sunday kickoff means the taps open exactly on the whistle. The bars that open early build a breakfast menu around this. It is why Legends opens at 7am and starts serving at 8.

Which Arsenal bar in NYC has the best happy hour?

Seven Sins at 293 3rd Ave is the only Arsenal NYC partner pub publishing a full happy hour with prices: $7 select drafts and wine, $8 mixed drinks and $12 craft cocktails, Tuesday to Friday 4–7pm, with free appetiser platters for groups of eight or more. The catch is that it is closed Sunday and Monday. Olde City runs $6 drafts and $10 cocktails Monday to Friday from 4pm and again from 11pm nightly.

Where do Arsenal fans watch in Brooklyn?

Highbury Pub at 1002 Cortelyou Rd in Ditmas Park, named after Arsenal's old ground and opened in 2013, and Paddy's of Park Slope at 273 13th St, founded by a lifelong Gooner. Both are official Arsenal NYC partner pubs. Highbury shares its room with Barcelona and Gotham supporters and has “Away fans welcome” on the chalkboard. Neither publishes reliable hours, so phone ahead for a morning kickoff.
