  • BrooklynBanter — Brooklyn Spurs, doors 15 min before kick-off, Powers at half time.
  • QueensRivercrest — Queens Spurs, 3,000 sq ft, sound on, $6 drafts weekdays.
  • 7:30am kickoffThe Football Factory at Legends — no Spurs group, but the only 7am door in writing.
  • Skip itSmithfield Hall hosts United and West Ham, not Spurs. The match may not even get a screen.

Tottenham is the only Premier League club with three official supporters clubs in New York City, one per borough: New York Spurs at Flannery's on 14th Street, Brooklyn Spurs at Banter in Williamsburg, and Queens Spurs at Rivercrest in Astoria. All three are listed in Tottenham's own supporters-club directory. Rivercrest is the best room and the best deal — $6 drafts and $12 cocktails, weekdays to 7pm, matches with the sound on. Banter has the clearest early-opening policy in the city: doors fifteen minutes before kick-off, whatever the hour. And the one thing worth knowing before any 7:30am kickoff, which no other guide will tell you: New York does not licence a drink before 8am on a Saturday, or before 10am on a Sunday. Below: five Tottenham bars NYC has verified, room by room.

Three boroughs, three official Spurs clubs

Tottenham is the only Premier League club with three official supporters clubs in New York City. More rooms in our guide to the best soccer bars in NYC.

Flannery's Bar

14th St at 7th Ave, New York Spurs' room · 205 W 14th St $$$
No published happy hour — and expect a cash-only $10 door on match dayssee caveat
Early kickoffsListings disagree — 8am on one, 9–10am on another. No official site to settle it

The Verdict: a small, dark, scarf-covered Irish pub on 14th Street that turns into North London for two hours at a time, and the Manhattan Spurs room by a mile. New York Spurs are listed in Tottenham's own official supporters-club directory with Flannery's as their venue, and $25 a season buys early entry on busy match days — the North London derby is named specifically. The Honest Caveat, and it is a real one: Flannery's has no website. None. Two aggregators independently report a $10 cash-only door charge that includes a drink, and two others give flatly contradictory opening hours. Nothing about this pub is published by the pub. Bring cash and ring 212-229-2122 before a morning kickoff. The Local Move: check @nyspurs before you leave — the club posts the plan when the pub does not.

Banter

Williamsburg, Brooklyn Spurs and a shot of Powers at half time · 132 Havemeyer St $$$
No happy hour — breakfast to 11am, sandwiches $8, Bloody Mary or Mimosa $12morning menu
Early kickoffsYes — published policy: doors 15 minutes before kick-off, any fixture

The Verdict: the best-organised Spurs room in the city and the one with actual traditions. Brooklyn Spurs formed in 2015, were officially recognised that December, and run 45 members under chairman Tobias Carroll. Their own description of a matchday: beer, a shot of Powers at half time, and drowning out the opposition — particularly, they note, when Arsenal fans are in. The Why it works logistically: Banter's own site commits to doors fifteen minutes before kick-off for any Premier League fixture, which is the clearest early-open policy of any bar in this research, and breakfast runs to 11am with $8 sandwiches and $12 Bloody Marys. Twenty-four taps, around eighty standing, a long wooden bar down the middle, foosball and pinball. The Honest Caveat: it is small and it has no published phone number.

Rivercrest On now

Astoria, Queens Spurs, 3,000 sq ft, sound on · 33-15 Ditmars Blvd $$$
$6 16oz drafts, $12 tap cocktails, $7 wine, $5 Jäger shotsMon–Fri to 7pm & Mon–Thu 10pm–2am
Early kickoffsNo — opens 11am Saturday and Sunday

The Verdict: the biggest room, the best deal, and the only one of the three Spurs bars that both the club and the venue confirm in public — Rivercrest hosts a page on its own site calling itself the official home of the Queens Spurs, and Tottenham's directory lists it back. Ninety members under chairman Josh Abrams. Three thousand square feet, reservations taken, and matches shown with the sound on — which they say in writing and almost nobody else does. Happy hour is the best on this page: $6 sixteen-ounce drafts, $12 cocktails on tap, $7 wine, $5 Jäger shots, open until 7pm Monday to Friday, and again 10pm to 2am Monday to Thursday. The Honest Caveat: weekdays only, and the weekend door is 11am. For a 10am Sunday kickoff in Astoria, you are calling ahead.

For an early kickoff, and where not to bother

One room opens at 7am and one is full of United fans. See also the best sports bars in NYC.

The Football Factory at Legends

Midtown, the 7am door · 6 W 33rd St $$$
No published happy hour—
Early kickoffsYes — 7am Saturday, 9am Sunday. Closes 7pm both days

The Verdict: no Spurs group meets here and it is still the room that solves your worst fixture. All three Tottenham clubs sit at bars that either open at 11am or refuse to publish an hour at all; Legends publishes 7am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday and has done for years. Three levels, lower one is the Football Factory, 21+, twenty big screens, a hundred-plus matches a week. The Honest Caveat, in bold if we could: it closes at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. And their supporters-groups page currently 404s, so do not expect to find a Spurs section listed anywhere. This is a fallback, not a home.

Smithfield Hall

Chelsea, 26 screens, and a room full of rivals · 138 W 25th St $$$
No published happy hour — pints $7.50–$12, cocktails $14–$16menu prices
Early kickoffsNot published — no opening hours on their site at all

The Verdict: the biggest screen count in Manhattan and the least Spurs-friendly room on this page, which is a genuinely useful thing to know before you commit a Sunday. Twenty-six TVs indoors, two bars, twenty-seven tables, eight more screens outside. Nine supporters clubs meet here and Tottenham is not one — Manchester United and West Ham are, which is two sets of the wrong noise. The Honest Caveat, from their own football page: a fixture listing does not guarantee a TV. On a packed Saturday your game can lose the screen. Email hello@smithfieldnyc.com if you are going anyway. Go Here Instead: 14th Street, Williamsburg or Astoria, all above.

Watching Tottenham in NYC: FAQ

Where is the Tottenham supporters club bar in NYC?

There are three, one per borough, all listed in Tottenham's official supporters-club directory. New York Spurs meet at Flannery's Bar, 205 W 14th St. Brooklyn Spurs meet at Banter, 132 Havemeyer St in Williamsburg — 45 members, chaired by Tobias Carroll, formed in 2015. Queens Spurs meet at Rivercrest, 33-15 Ditmars Blvd in Astoria — about 90 members, chaired by Josh Abrams.

Is there a cover charge at Flannery's for Spurs games?

Two independent listings report a $10 cash-only door on match days that includes a drink, but Flannery's has no website and publishes nothing itself, so we cannot confirm it first-hand. Bring cash and call 212-229-2122 before you go. New York Spurs membership is $25 for the season and includes early entry to Flannery's on busy match days, with the North London derby named specifically.

Which Spurs bar opens earliest for a morning kickoff?

Banter in Williamsburg, which publishes a policy of opening 15 minutes before kick-off for all Premier League and international soccer regardless of the hour, and serves breakfast until 11am. Flannery's hours are disputed between listings and Rivercrest does not open until 11am at weekends. For a guaranteed 7am Saturday door, The Football Factory at Legends is the only Manhattan room that publishes one — but no Spurs group meets there and it closes at 7pm.

Which Tottenham bar in NYC has the best happy hour?

Rivercrest in Astoria, comfortably. $6 sixteen-ounce drafts, $12 cocktails on tap, $7 wine and $5 Jäger shots, from open until 7pm Monday to Friday, plus a late-night repeat 10pm to 2am Monday to Thursday. Monday adds a burger, fries and a draft for $18. The catch is that it is weekdays only, so weekend fixtures get no discount.

Can you drink at 7:30am in NYC for an early Spurs kickoff?

Not straight away. New York State licenses on-premises alcohol from 8am Monday through Saturday and not until 10am on Sunday, in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens alike. A 7:30am Saturday kickoff starts dry for thirty minutes; a 10am Sunday kickoff means the taps open exactly on the whistle. It is why Banter runs a full breakfast menu and why bars open their doors before they can open the bar.
